Should ArchitectureBoston continue to offer diverse editorial content in the next 6 months or focus primarily on coverage that is linked, even tangentially, to COVID-19?
This is a great question! Do you know what AB has historically done after crises? E.g. was there a response issue after Hurricane Katrina, or did “flood mitigation” just weave its way tangentially into articles?
One cool way would be to immediately publish a theme about how architects want or predict things to change due to the pandemic. Then, after a period of time, have a follow-up theme on how those wants/predictions actually played out.
I think AB can both share responses to this tragic time - showcasing creativity as well as serve as inspiration and feed our design interests. I always love to hear what new books have been published - could also be great to have interviews with authors, researchers, students, etc.
